Karen has been running the Sust-N Waste Behavioural Change Operation since 2007.

Her background is in customer satisfaction having run Call Centres in various sectors. An organiser and collaborator keen to involve and engage people to deliver fantastic, innovative results.

Karen has been instrumental in delivering change and waste savings across Blue Chip NHS Trusts including: Barts Health NHS Trust, Sherwood Forest NHS, Guys & St Thomas’ Foundation NHS Trust, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Great Ormand Street NHS Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust amongst many others. Karen has overseen over a million waste bin audits across the above sites and helped deliver £ millions of savings, whilst improving waste awareness and compliance. Her track record of client engagement is second to none – focusing on what matters on a human level.

Karen has helped NHS Trusts win many awards receiving internal and external recognition these include: NHS Sustainability Award, HSJ Award, BIFM Award and first Carbon Trust Mark for waste in NHS.

Liam’s background is in Civil Engineering having spent 15 years designing temporary support structures and developing CAD software. Working on major projects such as the Channel Tunnel, Gatwick and Stansted Airports and other national infrastructure projects.

With the ability to analyse organisations and process, Liam has developed a unique set of change management skills that allows him to develop sophisticated programmes to deliver real behavioural and systemic change to large or small organisations.

For the last seven years he has brought these skills to the NHS to deliver real cost savings against a background of improved compliance and safety. His clients have been Blue Chip NHS Trusts who have recognised that excellence is achieved when you fully engage your people with positive messages and actions.
